Preforming For You

We were reminded of Died Pretty’s brilliance when they reformed in 2008 for a sold-out classic albums tour of their magnum-opus Doughboy Hollow. At the time these were the band’s first live performances since 2002 and the line-up that had produced that dark classic owned the stage like never before. Enigmatic singer Ron Peno reproduced the moves of yore with a voice that soared, while the band (solid to a man) took flight, lost in the sound and energy they were generating.

Having shared stages in the past and with Peno at different times fronting outfits that included Gurus stalwarts Shepherd and Kingsmill, this definitive lineup, at the behest of the Hoodoo Gurus, will reunite for Dig It Up.

Everybody move…
